being delayed or frozen commenced last Monday at the Ministry of Home Affairs (BIZA). Workers from the office of the deputy minister revealed that 50 state employees showed up on the first day. The registration is for people who have been a state employees for five years or longer and who suspect that their papers are deliberately being delayed or frozen. These state employees must explain their situation and grievances on paper which must then be handed in at the secretary’s office of the deputy minister. It is expected that more state employees will show up in the next couple of days. The Ministry of Home Affairs reportedly wants to get a clear picture of possible problems. The registration which started on March 9th will be concluded on March 18th, 2026. There will be no registration on Saturday and Sundays. The registration center will be open from 8 am until 3 pm.
