KABALEBO — “The ATM that is located at Kabalebo has been empty for nearly two months”, District Commissioner Kevin Bronne told...

Times of Suriname. The current situation is causing problems for the residents of Kabalebo because they cannot make any withdrawals and therefore do not have any cash on them. Only a few local stores have a POS terminal, thereby making it possible to pay with an ATM card but the residents explained that “this does not solve the problem entirely as it only provides little relief”. The DC was told that there is no plane available which is why the ATM cannot be ‘restocked’. The residents hope that a solution will be presented soon so that they can once again obtain cash at the local ATM.
