tration is making it clear that it takes firm action against irregularities. Vice Prresident Gregory Rusland explained that the current administration is clearly choosing for an entirely different approach. The firm action against officials who cross the line is aimed at making sure that others will think twice before making the same mistake. In other words it is aimed at preventing irregularities at an executive level within state companies. “When people cross the line, one must also have the courage to take action,” said VP Rusland who acknowledged that political structures keep playing an important role when it comes to putting together the board of directors at state companies. “The VP explained that for the most part political parties still get to decide who gets a seat at the table of the board of directors. He also assured that political parties also determine if their candidates are qualified for the job. “Once you have selected people, you start looking at their performance,” said VP Rusland.
