Meerzorg last Sunday morning. One of the fishermen who has brought his girlfriend along was hit on the head. His girlfriend responded by attacking another fisherman. She also smashed a beer bottle before cutting the man with it. The police rushed to the scene after having received a call about the brawl. The female suspect, S.S., was arrested and put in jail. The victim who had sustained serious injuries was released from the hospital after having received medical treatment. The police officers from the Meerzorg Police Station are still investigating this case.
