At a meeting between the president and the minister of Education, Science and Culture and the minister of Finance and Planning, it was decided that students who enroll at a pedagogical institution will receive financial aid. The government will reportedly cover the enrollment fee and the costs for study material in order to encourage students to choose for the teaching profession. Many youths deem the enrollment fee as a huge obstacle which is why the government wants to remove this obstacle by covering the enrollment fee. The financial aid program will be executed and monitored by the Ministry of Finance and Planning in association with the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture.
