He made it clear that firm action would be taken against people who do not follow the rules. According to the minister, the agrarian sector is one of the most important pillars of the nation. Minister Noersalim explained that the reckless use of pesticides could affect the health of people who consume vegetables and fruits on a daily basis. He pointed out that violations will trigger consequences but did not divulged what kind of measures would be taken against violators. Minister Noersalim also made it clear that the workers at his ministry also carry a huge responsibility on their shoulders because they must make sure that farmers follow the rules.
