PARAMARIBO – officers from RBT Paramaribo recently tracked down and arrested 25-year-old R.A., alias Koelie Boi. R.A. is suspected of being involved in a shooting incident.
He and another suspect namely 19-year-old F.L. fired their guns at each other. A car that was parked nearby had several bullet holes after the shoot out. F.L. was arrested shortly after the shooting but R.A. managed to stay one step ahead of the police. His luck recently ran out when the special police unit pinpointed his whereabouts and moved in to arrest him. He is currently in jail at the Latour Police Station to await trial. The investigation is ongoing.
