arrested and that he is back in his cell. Meanwhile police units are actively trying to track down the whereabouts of the other detainees who escaped during Monday’s jailbreak. The jailbreak was discovered when another group of police officers reported for duty at the police station. Police reports indicate that Felicio Cabenda, Sifileh Agodeba, Rene Ardjopawiro and Romario Boobo had managed to escape. All four suspects were arrested on a theft charge. Romario Boobo was spotted and arrested in the vicinity of Santodorp. The Police Force Suriname (KPS) announced that an investigation has been launched to find out how it was possible for these four detainees to make a run for it. The police has urged members of the public to remain alert and to call 115 or the nearest police station in case they have information regarding the whereabouts of these fugitives.
