J.B. did not hesitate but immediately fired two shots in the direction of the suspect before driving to the Houttuin Police Station to report the incident. Police units then rushed to the private residence where they found the body of the suspect next to the house. The burglary suspect had a gunshot wound in the back of his head. The police believe that the suspect did not act alone and that he and his accomplices had entered the private residence by removing a section of the ceiling outside of the house before ransacking the entire house. The other suspects reportedly took a DVR box, a big TV and other valuable items. The police later found the 60 inch TV next to the fence. The homeowner has a permit for the hunting rifle.
