The District Commissioners’ Office of Paramaribo-North managed to identify and track down the local entrepreneur who dumped his trash illegally in the Washington Street. It reportedly took a close look at the security footage and also received assistance from the Environment Police and the local community during the course of the investigation. The illegal trash dumper was instructed to remove all of his trash immediately and to report to the Environment Police to pay a fine. The Paramaribo- North DC’s Office has thanked everybody who provided information and security footage and thereby made it possible to identify and track down the culprit. “Together we can achieve a clean, safe and liveable environment.”
