According to Koendjbiharie, Wan Okasi has already contacted the state university to discuss giving access to more students with a disability. “Our objective is to get as many people with a disability as possible in the university. That is why I am calling on everybody with a disability who has graduated from high school to get registered at Wan Okasi. Send a letter to describe yourself, your disability, the challenges that you face and which high school you graduated from,” said the chairman who added that Wan Okasi is currently carrying out a pilot project to give people with a disability the opportunity to get a MBO degree. Meanwhile the foundation is also working hard to get recognition for Wan Okasi Skoro so that students can get a diploma there than can be their ticket into the university.
