Chairman Aniel Koendjbiharie urges people with a disability who have graduated from high school to come by the foundation. According to Koendjbiharie, Wan Okasi has already contacted the state university to discuss giving access to more students with a disability. “Our objective is to get as many people with a disability as possible in the university. That is why I am calling on everybody with a disability who has graduated from high school to get registered at Wan Okasi. Send a letter to describe yourself, your disability, the challenges that you face and which high school you graduated from,” said the chairman who added that Wan Okasi is currently carrying out a pilot project to give people with a disability the opportunity to get a MBO degree. Meanwhile the foundation is also working hard to get recognition for Wan Okasi Skoro so that students can get a diploma there than can be their ticket into the university.
